  John Carroll

  Managing Director

  Pharmacist John Carroll founded and established Axium Buying Group in 2009. Axium is the largest independent community pharmacy buying group in Ireland, supplying over 480 independent pharmacies. John is originally from Kerry and now lives in Kildare with his family.

  Sarah Milner

  Finance Director

  Sarah brings extensive financial experience, having studied Business Studies in DCU and trained as an accountant in KPMG. Sarah, who joined the team in September 2018, spent the previous 7 years in Tosara Pharma where they manufacture Sudocrem, most recently in the position of Site Controller.

  Finn McCann

  Technologies & Systems Director

  Finn brings 22 years of experience to his role as Technology and Systems Director, including the successful delivery of IT projects and services in the software, telecommunications and retail industries. His expertise includes software strategy and managing complex IT systems to deliver business value. Previously with GTECH Operations Ireland, he was responsible for technology development and implementation for the National Lottery.

  Peter Hynes

  Head of Commercial

  Peter brings more than 15 years retail experience to his role of Head of Commercial, having previously worked for Lidl Ireland and Applegreen in a variety of Senior Commercial and Operational roles. Peter studied Engineering in Trinity College Dublin, and more recently completed a Masters in Business Administration with UCD. Peter also holds an advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from CIMA.
